Through a long telephoto lens the detail and beauty of birds is all the more easy to observe.
A lifetime of birding has afforded me the opportunity to observe birds in many wonderful locations for often extended periods of time. Whether it's on the marshes of Norfolk, at some ungodly early hour, or wandering Battersea park, Parque Mahuide, or other urban location, I am ceaselessly amazed  how the most amazing wild birds live amongst us even in the largest of metropolises.
The opportunity to capture birds and their natural behaviour is both a wonderful challenge and a privilege. We are surrounded by natural beauty, all it takes is for us to look, and with little effort you will find more than you can ever imagine".
